16 Years and a Lot of SMC Success Stories

Last month I notched my 16th year with SMC.  I don’t suppose there’s anything special about the 16th year versus any other, but for some reason it struck home a little more forcefully than any of the previous anniversaries have.

Seems like a long time, sixteen years.  But it’s flown by, thanks in large part to the many hundreds of members I’ve talked with and the great feeling I get when they say things like, “Joining SMC changed my life, it was the best decision I ever made,” and variations thereof. 
And the truth is, it pales in comparison to another employee we’re honoring later this year.  I’m not going to say her name because she’s very shy, but this fine lady has been with the company for 50 years now, having begun as a teenager working side-by-side packing boxes and membership kits with founder Abe Levine. 

That’s a lot of years for sure, and speaking for myself, that kind of longevity is only possible when you really believe in what you do.  And I know she believes very strongly in what we do here.  As do I.  And our VP Distribution, with over 20 years.  And our IT Director, also with more than 20 years.  And on, and on. 
Thanks to all of you, we’re all very lucky that way.
