However, each business coach is assigned to multiple members, so it may be difficult for the coach to immediately respond to every member. SMC Corp BBB - Payment Options Were Not Useful

Another misleading BBB report about SMC Corp claims that members were unaware that a gift card was required for all purchases. Some new members felt that their sales would be negatively affected by this requirement and then attempted to cancel their membership. The purchase requirements are clearly stated on the SMC Corp website, so this information was simply overlooked by those new members.

SMC Corp requires that gift cards are used to purchase items on their websites in order to track the sales of each member and to easily distribute payment. While this may seem inconvenient to sellers, the use of gift cards also protects the financial information of customers.

SMC Corp BBB - Refunds Were Not Given

The number one misleading BBB report about SMC Corp involves returns that were not accepted. Members filed complaints stating that their membership fee was not refunded despite the fact that they returned their membership kit. What these BBB reports fail to state is the time period in which the former SMC Corp members returned their kits. SMC Corp gives new members a full refund if they choose to return their membership kit for any reason. However, they must return the kit within 30 days after registering and the kit must be in the original condition. These terms are clearly outlined at the SMC website.
