Some sellers have complained that after starting their website they were bombarded with calls from SMC vendors trying to sell their services. For a fee, these vendors would provide the sellers with services intended to improve their website. While you may find an unknown call annoying, the vendors affiliated with SMC can provide legitimate guidance and tips for improving traffic to your site. However, if you feel more comfortable working on your own, then simply turn down their service pitch and you can continue personally running your website.

Specialty Merchandise Corporation Complaints 3: Gift Cards Make it Difficult to Purchase Items

A customer must use a gift card to make a purchase on your Specialty Merchandise Corporation website. This can be frustrating for some, but the gift card is necessary in order to maintain profit margins and make sure that you earn as much money as possible. Since only SMC sellers can obtain gift cards, this gives you leverage when selling the products and prohibits people from purchasing products without your help.

When the customer registers their gift card they are also given a $10 credit, which is a nice surprise that will hopefully encourage them to continue buying items from your site.
